In Messages & Memories for Harry
Our hearts are saddened when we think of not seeing Harry leading our Parkinson Exercise Groups. He had such an enthusiasm and it affected all of us. Our connection with Harry was very special. We first met him at the Fight Club and then Jim began trying to join in with the group of golfers. Harry was so kind to Jim. Knowing it was a challenge for him he would pick up his ballband tee them up for him. That’s Harry! Always willing to help. Always willing to say a few words of encouragement after class to Jim ... Our latest connection was just a few weeks ago when Jim went into the Billiards room after Exercise at Chatham. He started to play a game from his wheel chair and Harry came in. He spotted for him ... stayed the whole time to cheer Jim on!! ( As you can imagine it took quite a while to get all this balls down) That was Harry.!! He leaves a legacy of Kindness and encouragement to others and Strength to keep on keeping on no matter what The circumstances. He was a gentle role model and we count it a privilege to have know him. Jim and Nancy Smith
